| Orthopore™ filters are composed of a polycarbonate membrane film
track-etched to create uniform cylindrical pores. These membranes are thin,
transparent and naturally hydrophobic. Contaminants are retained on the surface
due to the cylindrical pore structure and easily visible under microscopic
analysis. Because they are thin and transparent, they are suitable for
gravimetric analysis. The smooth flat surface makes them extremely useful in
electron microscopy. Contaminants are easily identified and can be captured on
the surface with a narrow depth of field. |
